Internships

The AAIA offers work experience in Greece to students registered on Australian MA programmes in the Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums sector through our Greek GLAM Internship programme. It is not necessary for interns to speak Greek to participate successfully.

We provide placement opportunities in a range of activity areas, such as:

  • Archaeological conservation (artefact, architectural)
  • Exhibition curation
  • Public engagement
  • Cultural heritage management
  • Archival management

Please contact the Dr Lita Tzortzopoulou-Gregory (lita.gregory@sydney.edu.au) to enquire about upcoming opportunities.

A Placement Agreement must be signed between the AAIA and the student’s home institution before any placement can be undertaken. To enquire about establishing such an Agreement, please contact Dr Lita Tzortzopoulou-Gregory (lita.gregory@sydney.edu.au).
